This course is designed for the student who needs to make rapid progress or who wishes to concentrate on particular areas of the language such as specialized vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, pronunciation etc. Following a needs analysis, a course is specifically designed to suit the particular requirements of the student. Individual tuition can also be combined with the Standard English Programme or with the Intensive English Programme.

The Business & English course consists of 20 hours a week General English followed by 5 hours per week of specific business related classes.
The format for the classes will be a mix of Oral, Written, Grammar, Diction and group and individual conversation.
The business section will deal with:
-Participating in meetings & discussions
-Negotiating successfully
-Using the telephone effectively
-Giving clear and concise presentations
-Entertaining clients
-Learning strategies for the future
We also have the ability to custom design a course for groups specific to their particular industry and needs.
We also run these Business English lessons as night courses in the Evening time from 6.30pm-8.30pm.

This course combines an English language course with unpaid employment in an Irish company. The internship programme allows students to gain practical work experience and improve their English language fluency in a professional, English-speaking work environment.

The Test of English for International Communication is an internationally recognized exam, devised by the Educational Testing Service. The TOEIC test measures the language competence of candidates whatever their level. A two-week preparation course is sufficient for most students to have a firm grasp of the techniques required for the IELTS exam. The course consists of a morning general English revision programme and afternoon specific exam practice sessions. Students should be at upper-intermediate level or above before starting the course. International House Dublin is a recognized TOEIC testing centre and tests can be held at any time throughout the year.
