Elanguest can offer accommodation to suit your needs or budgetary requirements. Whether it be an English speaking host family, or an all inclusive first class luxurious hotel, the school can help you to organise your accommodation.
Self-catering apartments are available, only for our students, host families or hotel for our more demanding clients.
Apartment
This one is the most common choice of the students. It is a good way of relating, and also one of the more affordable types of housing in the island
Elanguest provides its own residential self-catering apartments, shared by students attending the school. This gives students an excellent opportunity to live on their own terms and cater for themselves.
Our apartments differ in size. The smallest of our units sleeps a maximum of four people and our largest unit can cater for up to nine people.
Our apartments are based on shared rooms, although we can also provide single rooms depending on availability.
The typical age group of those who choose to stay in our apartments is between 20 and 32.
All of our apartments are within walking distance of the school.
The apartments are well-kept and fully equipped with cooking facilities, cutlery and utensils. Bed linen is provided and laundered every week by the school, however we kindly request that you provide your own towels.
The apartments are shared by several students from Elanguest at any one time. The school provides each apartment with a cleaner to help with tidying up for a few hours once a week. However, we also encourage students to be considerate towards their flatmates by always keeping the apartments clean.

Host family
The school can organise accommodation for students with Elanguest Host Families. Carefully selected, and regularly monitored, they ensure a comfortable and friendly environment.
Services
- They offer breakfast and dinner (half board)
- The rooms can be shared or singles.
- Bed linen is provided by your host family and laundered every week
- You provide your own towels.
- Personal laundry should be discussed with the families themselves, as there is generally a small fee for carrying out this service which differs from family to family. There is no set rule laid down by the Maltese Tourism Authority regarding laundry
Hotel
We offer a choice of hotels from 3 to 5 star category - all of which are within walking distance from the school.
Hotel Valentina ***
Ceiling fan and air-conditioning unit in every room with cooling and heating. Mini frigo bar in every room.
TV set in every room and common areas via satellite antenna. Direct telephone line in every room. Breakfast on buffet basis. Special discounts in the popular restaurant which is located just a few meters away and is owned by the hotel.
(For those on BB Basis only) The location of the hotel is only 3 to 5 minutes away from the beach, Casino, Banks, Night Clubs, supermarkets, other restaurants and many other diverse shops.
Alexandra Palace ***
The Alexandra Palace Hotel is ideally situated within the heart of St. Julians, close to the school and all facilities. It has been undergoing refurbishment over the last year and has improved many of its facilities.
It is in a slightly quieter part of Paceville and has a small swimming pool on the roof and a larger one on the ground floor. Both can be covered during bad weather and open-roofed during good weather.
Facilities include: 145 double rooms - tv and telephone and air-conditioning included in price.
The use of a fridge or safe in the room is additional (see supplements)
Hotel Bernard ****
The Hotel Bernard is a 4 star hotel with 87 rooms. It is in the heart of the Club and entertainment district beside the new 5*Intercontinental hotel and opposite the fashionable Bay Street complex. It is also just 1 minute from a small sandy beach and 5 minutes walk from the school.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE that this hotel is more suitable for the 18 - 25 age group.
Golden Tulip Vivaldi Hotel ****
Although the Vivaldi is rated as a 4 star hotel, its superior class is nearer to the 5 star category and some of its services are at 5 star quality. It is just a 5 minute walk from the school and is located at the edge of the entertainment area and close to the sea.
It is a 1 minutes walk away from an excellent private sea-front lido, run by the Westin Hotel and open to public membership. The rooftop promenade compensates somewhat for the lack of gardens at ground level since it has a restaurant, pool and sun-deck. Vivaldi offers the choice of a superior hotel without having to pay the more expensive 5*prices.
Hotel Juliáni ****
The Juliani boasts a prime site, overlooking the picturesque bay of St Julian's, once a typical fishing village. TRADITIONAL colourful Maltese fishing boats are still bobbing up and down in the bay, which is centrally located and close to the heart of Malta's entertainment zone.
A hub for business and leisure activities, the characteristic, contemporary and cosmopolitan seaside town of St Julian's is charming both by day and by night. The Boutique four stars Hotel Juliani in Malta is home to 44 deluxe rooms, three hip and innovative restaurants and lounge bars, which have direct access independent from the hotel, conference facilities, and a rooftop pool overlooking the open sea.

One of the finest Hilton Hotels anywhere in the world - this hotel needs no introduction.
It is located opposite the school in a new complex of buildings which include a commercial centre, exclusive apartments and speciality restaurants.
