The School is situated on the Island of Malta in the heart of the Mediterranean. Malta, one of only a few truly bilingual countries, is an ideal location for studying English.
The island’s warm, southern hospitality blends perfectly with historic and cultural links to Britain, creating a charm unique only to these Islands.
Mainland Europe has the best access to Malta. Air Malta has flights between the main island and a host of other European cities. Other daily scheduled carriers with service to Malta include Alitalia, KLM, Lufthansa, Swissair, Tunisavia, British Airways and a host of other charter flights.
There is a ferry service between Malta and Sicily and Genoa, Italy. The journey between Malta and Catania (on Sicily) takes about three hours.
Malta International Airport is located about 5km (3miles) southwest of Valletta. St. Julians is only 20 minutes from the airport. For a small fee, let us keep track of your incoming flight, pick you up at the airport and see you safely to your front door.
Transport is cheap and most places are within walking distance.
Malta has an excellent climate, with temperatures reaching up to 35°C (95°F) during the midsummer months (July to August), as well as during the hot African \'Sirocco\' winds.
The lowest average daily high temperature, approximately 15°C (59°F), occurs during January. Rainfall is heaviest from November to February, although it is low all year-round.
Most people begin swimming around May, the sea remaining warm until the end of September.
